Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how McGuire Plumbing(“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit mcguireplumbingllc.com(the “Site”) or submit a quote request. We keep this simple on purpose — we're a small, local plumbing business, not an ad company, and we treat your information accordingly.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. When you request a quote, that typically includes:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your property address
- The service you're interested in and a description of your project
- Your preferred contact method (call, text, or email)
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this Site — for example, which pages get visited and how people found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location (based on IP address), device and browser type, and the pages you visit on this Site. We also track when a “Call” link is used, so we can see which parts of the Site are actually driving inquiries.
This data is aggregated and used to improve the Site — we don't use it to individually identify you. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. We do not run any advertising pixels or sell data to ad networks.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit solely to:
- Respond to your quote request and follow up about your project
- Schedule and perform the work you've requested, if you move forward
- Keep an internal record of quote requests for our own business purposes
We don't use your information for unrelated marketing, sell or rent it to third parties, or add you to a mailing list without your consent.
5. How Your Information Is Stored & Shared
If you request a quote through this Site, your information is used directly by McGuire Plumbingto respond to your request and may also be processed through Jobber, our scheduling and invoicing software, so we can keep track of the job. Jobber is a tool we use to run our own business — it doesn't use your information for its own purposes, and we don't share your information with any other third party.
This Site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard web traffic (like your IP address and browser type) as part of normal hosting operations, the same as any website you visit.
6. Data Retention
We keep quote request records for as long as reasonably necessary for our business and legal purposes — for example, to reference past project details or maintain records of work performed. If you'd like us to delete your information, contact us and we'll take care of it.
7. Your Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we have about you at any time by reaching out using the contact info below. If you're a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — contact us and we'll be glad to help.
8. Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for adults seeking plumbing services and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We can't guarantee absolute security, but we don't take that responsibility lightly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they're posted on this page, and we'll update the “Last updated” date above whenever we do.
